|Grendal Worms||Grendal Worms (Enchytraeus buchholzi)|
Grindal Worms unlike the larger White Worm can be cultured at room temperature. Grindal Worms reach a size of about 1 cm. They are easily cultured in commercial worm bedding that is kept moist. Grindals are a good food for larger fry and smaller fish.
I feed my grindals a moistened dog kibble or two. The cultures start out slow but soon overtake their container and crawl up the sides. It is always advisable two keep several cultures going at once in case a culture crashes.
